Every year, Call of Duty treats its fans to Halloween-themed events filled with challenges and spooky rewards. This season, players can dive into the chilling world of Modern Warfare 2 and complete The Haunting challenges to earn the coveted Ghoulie Camo.

What is the Ghoulie Camo?

The Ghoulie Camo is a vibrant, animated camo that players can unlock for free by participating in the Soul Capture event. It features an eerie color scheme, blending blue, violet, and green hues, making it the perfect choice for those who enjoy a spooky-themed aesthetic.

How to Unlock the Ghoulie Camo

To acquire the Ghoulie Camo, players need to collect a total of 1000 souls during Modern Warfare 2's The Haunting event. These souls can be redeemed for the camo, which is set to go live on October 24th. Initially, players can only unlock the first two rows of event rewards, but after October 24th, all rewards will become available for unlock.

The Ghoulie Camo is the 18th and final unlock for the Soul Capture event, making it the most sought-after reward for dedicated participants. Once unlocked, players can apply this haunting camo to all their weapons.

Collecting 1000 Souls

Gathering 1000 souls may sound daunting, but with the right strategy and gameplay, it's achievable. Players can capture souls by eliminating both opponents and monsters in various game modes, such as zombies.

However, there is a cap on the number of souls you can collect in each match, typically ranging from 8 to 12 in multiplayer. For a faster soul-gathering method, consider playing Vondel Lockdown or taking on The Ghost Train. The former can net you 16 Souls in a single match, while the latter allows you to collect up to 20 Souls by defeating zombies.

Keep in mind that The Ghoulie Camo can only be unlocked until the Haunting Event ends on November 6th, so get ready for some spooky action in Modern Warfare 2.
