Counter-Strike 2 developers recently updated their banner on the social network X (formerly Twitter) with an image of what looks like cracked, wet asphalt. Community members, both in the comments of the post and on the game’s Steam page, have noted that Valve often makes such subtle changes as teasers before releasing a major update.

Fans of the series, familiar with previous versions, quickly recognized the texture as resembling the asphalt in a specific area of the Train map. This has led many to anticipate that the map might return soon. Although the Train map was featured in one of the CS2 trailers, it has yet to be added to the game as of this article’s publication.
