Spencer «Hiko» Martin announced in his official Twitter account that he has left OpTic Gaming. It seems that the team no longer needs the services of the esportsman. Also, Hiko told that he planned to continue his career and “not to give up“. OpTic Gaming did not announce the fifth player to join the main CS:GO roster of the American organization. OpTic Gaming decided to part ways with Hiko in a week after they decided to continue cooperation with RUSH and mixwell. On March 14, OpTic Gaming refused offer of Team Liquid concerning jdm64 and Pimp. Previously, Luis «peacemaker» Tadeu left OpTic Gaming and told that the roster has some uncertainties that prevent team from the development. Hiko has been playing for OpTic Gaming since leaving Team Liquid last month. Being a member of the team, he took 9-12 place on DreamHack Masters Las Vegas 2017. After DreamHack Las Vegas, the team did not manage to qualify from the group on Intel Extreme Masters Season XI — World Championship and did not pass the qualifiers to StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3.
