The organizers of the upcoming tournament in Atlanta announced the list of teams that received direct invites to the closed qualifiers. In DreamHack Atlanta, 8 teams will participate and only two of them will get into the tournament through the qualifiers in Europe and North America. Other teams will receive direct invites. In both regions the qualifiers will starts with the open bracket for 512 teams. Two best teams of the open qualifiers will join the closed qualifiers and will join four invited teams.

DreamHack Atlanta 2017 will take place on July 21 – 23 in Atlanta. Georgia World Congress Center will host the event, and the prize pool will be $100,000.
