The organizers of IEM XII — Sydney announced in their official Twitter account that North became the last team to get the direct invite to the tournament. Totally, 8 teams will participate in the event. Six of them have already received direct invites. The last two teams to join the tournament will be determined during the qualifications in China and Oceania. LAN-final will take place in Australia, in Sydney, from May 3 till 7. The event will be hosted by Qudos Bank Arena. The prize pool is $200,000. Intel Extreme Masters Season XII — Sydney list of participants:
