Representatives of Fnatic decided not to renew the contract with Jimmy 'Jumpy' Berndtsson, who had previously trained Swedish players. Instead, Andreas 'Samuelsson' Samuelsson, who previously served as line-up manager, became the new mentor.

Samuelsson already has experience mentoring the Swedish team. He joined Fnatic in 2017 in order to develop players as a coach. He helped the team break through to the Europe Minor Championship 2017 - Krakow, after which he became a manager.

On August 21, twist and Xizt were transferred to the reserve. In a press release, Fnatic representatives said that this decision is directly related to the unsuccessful performance of the Swedish team in qualifications at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.
