TORONTOTOKYO venstre Team Spirit

Serbian eSports club Team Spirit has announced changes in the roster. The post of the team's midlaner is leaving 25-year-old Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Hertek.

Alexander became a Team Spirit player in December 2020. For 2 incomplete years of playing in the camp of “dragons”, TORONTOTOKYO managed to achieve impressive results.

Together with the team, the player became the champion of Dota 2 Champions League Season 1, Pinnacle Cup, Dota 2 Championship League Season 2. The main achievement in the career of the 25-year-old mid player was the victory at The International 2021, where Team Spirit in the final, being an underdog, beat PSG.LGD with score 3-2.

In the 2022 season, the club went into decline after a successful start. After winning DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division 1 and then becoming regional final champions, the team took 9-12th place at ESL One Stockholm 2022, but rehabilitated by defeating PSG.LGD in the PGL Arlington Major 2022 final.

The last tournament that put an end to the future of TORONTOTOKYO as part of Team Spirit was The International 2022. Last year's champions, Team Spirit, were eliminated at the TOP-16 stage, losing in the BOOM lower bracket match.

The last two years have been great! I met a lot of people that I now call my friends. I got a lot of useful experience in the game and in life. I want to thank my teammates and all the Team Spirit staff for this time! Separate words of gratitude to the fans who supported and cheered for us and for me! Keep following me, my goals remain the same - I want to win every tournament I play. And remember: everything is for the best.
