Mars Dota 2 League announced that one of Chinese Dota 2 teams got invitation to MDL Macau. Now, the number of participants is 9 teams. Among these teams, Virtus.pro and LGD Gaming received direct invite except for EHOME. Other teams were determined in regional qualifiers.

The final stage of MDL Macau 2017 will take place on December 8 – 10 in Macau. The event got a status of minor tournament. Correspondingly, prize pool will be $300,000 and 300 DPC Points. There is no information how the money reward will be distributed. As for 300 DPC Points, the winner will get 150 DPC Points.
