Valve reported, that The International 2018 will be held in Vancouver on 20-25 August. The holding place was chosen to be home arena of the ice-hockey team Vancouver Canucks, which can accommodate approximately 20,000 viewers.

- The Midweek - guarantees visiting 3 days of the event and they will cost 125 Canadian dollars. .
- The Finals - guarantees visiting the last two days of the event and will cost approximately 250 Canadian dollars. .
