Diablo 4 Unleashes Ray Tracing Glory in Latest 1.3.5 Update: A Visual Revolution Awaits!
Blizzard's latest update for Diablo 4, version 1.3.5, brings significant enhancements, including Nvidia's ray tracing support. This addition comes after the game's initial release but complements the previously available DLSS 3 technology from Nvidia, which boosts frame rates and improves resolution on less powerful GPUs.
Since the launch of Diablo 4 Season 3 earlier in the year, Blizzard has been diligently updating the game. Early updates in the season adjusted the difficulty of the new boss, Son of Malphas, who was initially too challenging due to his high damage output. Additionally, February's update (version 1.3.2) introduced a method for players to farm for Uber Uniques. More recently, update 1.3.4 addressed various bugs and enhanced the game's accessibility features.
The primary feature of update 1.3.5 is the integration of ray tracing, enhancing the visual fidelity of Blizzard's action RPG. Nvidia announced this feature, promising two new effects that improve reflections and shadows, making the game's environments and encounters more visually engaging and immersive.
In addition to visual enhancements, the 1.3.5 update resolves several bugs. It fixes issues such as the Portal entrance to the Gauntlet not displaying correctly, certain elite enemies not spawning as expected in the Path of the Blind dungeon, and other performance and stability improvements.
Looking ahead, Blizzard is poised to share more updates with the Diablo 4 community, including details about the upcoming test server for Season 4 adjustments. This test phase, slated for early April, will allow players to experience and provide feedback on changes, including a significant update to Uber Lilith.
This update (Build #51501, applicable across all platforms) on March 26, 2024, signifies Blizzard's commitment to enhancing player experience with both technical improvements and content updates, ensuring Diablo 4 remains a dynamic and engaging game for its fanbase.
