The «Summer Games 2019» was launched in Overwatch

Now players will be able to get seven new summer images for heroes from special themed containers that will fall out instead of the usual ones. In addition, in the Overwatch there were also three items and a game mode, which is an analogue of football.

The event will last from July 16 to August 5 and for three weeks, users will be able to receive various awards for winning any game modes. Each of them will have three rewards weekly.

This year, the new hero for Overwatch will be released earlier than usual. According to the established tradition, Blizzard released a new hero in the summer at the end of July, and the thematic event was held in August. This year they decided to hold an event in July, and the release of a new character to be postponed to August.
