Rizex45 has announced his departure from Evil GeniusesRocket League starting roster. The 20-year-old German esportsman announced this on his Twitter, confirming early rumors about his departure from the team.

Yes, the rumors are true, I'm moving to the bench and Evil Geniuses is letting me try out for other teams. I want to thank Evil Geniuses and especially my team for the last year, it's been amazing and I'm proud of what we've achieved.

I would like us to get to the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship, but I believe that Evil Geniuses will still do it next season. With that said, I hope you guys continue to support me and I will try my best next season with my new team.

Rizex45 joined Evil Geniuses last October, having moved from German Amigos. In nine months, the 20-year-old German esportsman helped the team take third place in the RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: EU Regional Event 2 - Premier Cup, get into the TOP-4 at RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: EU Regional Event 3 - Copa de Rocket League, as well as play at the Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Winter Split Major (7th-8th place).

However, in the spring part of the season, the team stopped showing results, having made it to the TOP-6 of the regional split only once. As a result, the European team missed the final Major of the season, and at the same time did not qualify for the final Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - World Championship.
