FPX opløste line-up'et for VALORANT

Chinese club FunPlus Phoenix announced the dissolution of the European roster of VALORANT. The VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters – Copenhagen champions will continue their careers elsewhere.

From the unknown to the best in EMEA, we have come a long way and overcome many obstacles to get where we are today.

The European roster FunPlus Phoeinx has achieved significant results in regional events in EMEA, as well as in international championships. The team led by ANGE1 won VCT 2021: European Stage 2 Challengers 1 and VCT: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers, but the team managed to achieve the main success in the second half of 2022.

The main triumph of FunPlus Phoenix was the victory at VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen. In the final of the Major, FPX defeated Paper Rex with a score of 3-2.

The last FPX tournament in the star roster was the VALORANT Champions 2022 World Championship. The club reached the TOP-4, where they lost to DRX with a score of 0-2 in the match for passing to the small final.

A possible reason for the dissolution of the FPX roster for VALORANT was the club not being included in the list of partner teams. The organization did not receive a slot in the Europe Partner Program.
