ESIC lifted the ban on Joel due to a lack of compelling evidence confirming his involvement in match-fixing
The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) announced that starting from January 6, 2024, Joel Holmlund, known as Joel, will be allowed to participate in competitions. This information was made public by the commission on social media.
The player's punishment was lifted due to the lack of convincing evidence of his involvement in match-fixing according to ESIC. Additionally, ESIC noted that the player did not provide evidence in his defense.
The decision to unban the player at the beginning of 2024 was made based on his cooperation with ESIC.
