The mobile game titled "The Elder Scrolls: Castles" is now in early access for Android and serves as a simulation game reminiscent of Fallout Shelter.

Players are tasked with monitoring the lives of their subjects over the years, witnessing the growth of families and transitions of rulers.

Bethesda has a history of producing mobile games, including the construction and management simulator "Fallout Shelter," which was launched in 2015, the card game "The Elder Scrolls: Legends" released in 2017, and the role-playing game "The Elder Scrolls: Blades," introduced in 2019, all of which are available for free.

In December of the previous year, Todd Howard, the head of Bethesda, revealed that the studio is actively working on an undisclosed mobile project. During an interview on Lex Fridman's podcast, Howard conveyed his enthusiasm for this enigmatic endeavor.

While specific details about the game remain undisclosed, Howard suggested that it is designed with young players in mind, particularly those who enjoy extended gaming sessions on mobile devices.

This month, Bethesda launched the game "Starfield," which quickly amassed 10 million players within a few weeks, marking it as the studio's most successful release to date.

Bethesda is presently focused on a significant update for "Starfield," promising to incorporate the "most highly requested features" from the community. Additionally, official mod support is scheduled to be introduced in 2024.

Pete Hines, Bethesda's Head of Publishing, recently announced that "The Elder Scrolls 6" is still in the "early stages of development." Fans are cautioned not to anticipate news about this game "for several years" following the release of "Starfield."
