Sony has released a fresh version of a system update for the PS5
According to information provided by the platform's administration, the new version 23.02-08.20.00 enhances the user experience in the control center by implementing a two-column layout, which significantly simplifies navigation.
Players can now avoid unwanted background noise during game streaming on PlayStation VR2, and there's also a voice command feature that allows users to explore new features on the PS5. Full details of the update are available below.
The most recent major system update for the PS5 has introduced support for Dolby Atmos and various new accessibility options, among other enhancements.
Sony plans to release the PS5 Slim in November. Similar to the original model, the new console will be available in standard and digital versions. According to the company, the new console boasts a more compact design, reducing its volume by over 30% and its weight by 18% compared to the current model.
A distinctive feature of the new digital version of the PS5 Slim, unlike the original model, is its support for an external Blu-ray drive, which can be purchased separately.
It is expected that the PS5 Slim will be available for purchase on November 8th, bundled with the games Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Modern Warfare 3.
