Sony has unveiled a new trailer for the game Spider-Man 2, revealing some intriguing plot details. The game's events unfold nine months after the events of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, where Miles continues to seek help from Peter. However, their relationship faces a serious test when a mysterious symbiote becomes involved in the storyline.

The symbiote begins to affect Peter, granting him new abilities, and Miles, Mary Jane, Harry, and other friends are forced to help Peter deal with the consequences while also facing new threats, such as Kraven, Lizard, Sandman, and Venom.

The release date for Spider-Man 2 is set for October 20, 2023. Earlier this month, Sony also introduced a special edition PS5 console bundle for Spider-Man 2, along with console covers and DualSense controllers.

Last month, Sony released a previous trailer for Spider-Man 2, showcasing the game's open world and expanded version of New York. The video, narrated by Insomniac's Senior Creative Director Bryan Intihar, revealed new in-game locations that players will be able to explore and fresh methods of traversal throughout New York.
