VALORANT Regional Leagues CIS: Milestone vender muligvis tilbage i 2023
Riot Games is considering returning VALORANT Regional Leagues CIS: Milestone in 2023. This was announced by the Danish journalist Bo Hoogland on his Twitter.
Good news! Behind the scenes, there are rumors about the possible return of VALORANT Regional Leagues CIS, which was canceled in March 2022. It is not known if there will be anything in the off-season, but sources are hoping that VALORANT Regional Leagues CIS will return again in 2023!
The developers have not yet finally decided on the issue of launching a league for the CIS, but are inclined to resume competitions in the region. It is not yet clear if the organizers will hold any tournaments during the off-season that will come after the end of VALORANT Champions 2022. Riot Games has not yet commented on the leaked information.
Recall that VALORANT Regional Leagues CIS: Milestone started in mid-February. However, two weeks later, the organizers stopped the competition, and then canceled all further competitions in the region.
A little earlier, Riot Games unveiled the details of the TIER-2 scene for VALORANT for 2023, including new championships and details for moving teams to the TIER-1 level.
In 2023, the Challengers Series will span over 20 leagues around the world, ensuring every player has a chance to enter the TIER-1 scene.
The top TIER-2 teams with the Challengers will take part in a promotion tournament called the Ascension. In turn, the winners of the Ascension series guarantee themselves a slot in the partner league for the next 2 years.
