Good news for eSports fans came from Bangladesh. Recently, state authorities discovered the organization of a PUBG Mobile tournament and arrested at least 108 people who took part in this event. At the same time, a case was opened against the six organizers of the championship, in which their violations of the law will be considered.

Police in Chuadanga, the city where the incident took place, were told that they had released all the prisoners associated with the case. Recall that all adult PUBG Mobile players who took part in the tournament were initially sent to serve a sentence of 2-5 days.

Last August, PUBG Mobile was banned in Bangladesh just like Free Fire. The main reason was the petition of lawyers of the Supreme Court. This petition said that these multiplayer projects make the younger generation more violent and addicted to video games, which is harmful to the people of Bangladesh. The court accepted this position and at the end of the summer of 2021, a law was passed to ban PUBG Mobile and Free Fire. At first, it was planned that the game ban would last three months, but at the end of 2021, it was decided to extend the ban for an indefinite period.
